Responsibilities

Performs product sales activities for new/renewal businesses to achieve or exceed given product and service revenue objectives.
New Business Development: Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities within the defense and aerospace markets.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including defense contractors, government agencies, and commercial defense/aerospace customers. Build long-term partnerships by understanding their needs and delivering value-added solutions.
Partners with field and enterprise sales within the company and Channel partners, to collaboratively develop and proactively execute strategies that drive product and service revenue as part of an overall account strategy.
Effectively contributes to all stages of the sales process.
Facilitates communication with the sales and technical team for updates on product capabilities, success stories and winning strategies.
Establishes, develops, and maintains business relationships with current and prospective customers to generate new business for the organization’s products and services.
Participates in industry shows and conventions.
Creates and leads advanced solution presentations to match identified customer needs using the company's products & services. Identifies Multiverse Computing's advantages and positions Multiverse Computing’s products and services as superior to competitive offerings.
Coordinates and organises technical support for demos, PoCs, support for evaluation, training etc.
Works with team members to develop clear and effective written proposals, quotations, and value propositions for current and prospective customers.
Provides client feedback to product development and marketing staff.

Required Qualifications

Proven track record of Sourcing and closing six and seven-figure new logo deals within a given territory
10+ years for Business development representative, years of sales or consulting experience in selling engineering/technology applications with a proven track record of success
2+ years for Business development representative, in the defense sector with a proven track record of success
Experience with public procurement and startups/scale ups in the defense sector.
Achieve or exceed required sales quota.
Aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine appropriate solutions for customers.
Travel: up to 50%

The position requires a self-starter that operates with a minimum level of oversite to personally execute and achieve the Sales Team's goals in the Aerospace & Defense sector. Strong personal networking skills with exposure to executive and leadership levels in Aerospace and Defense companies Excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to work independently, and with other functional teams (DEV, Marketing, PM etc.) Ability to foster collaboration & coordination with personnel distributed across multiple global sites.
